Lisi is an attorney with Levin Sitcoff PC She maintains a plaintiffs’ insurance bad faith, personal injury, and small civil rights practice. She returned to Levin Sitcoff in July 2017 after having practiced with the firm previously between 2012 and 2015. Lisi has assisted in the favorable resolution of a number of high value insurance bad faith and personal injury matters. No matter the dollar value or type of case, Lisi provides unparalleled dedication and compassion in representing individuals in actions against powerful institutions like insurance companies and the government.

Prior to returning to Levin Sitcoff, Lisi maintained a robust prisoners’ civil rights practice. Lisi has mounted a number of groundbreaking challenges to systemic inequities that resulted in the mistreatment of prisoners in state and federal prison systems. Some of those challenges have been successful; some have not; some are ongoing. She has also maintained a miniscule but successful criminal defense and post-conviction practice. Outcome aside, Lisi maintains a reputation as a voracious advocate for justice and tireless ally for those oppressed by the prison system, including female employees who have been discriminated against by the Colorado Department of Corrections.
For her work in representing prisoners, Lisi has been awarded the Linda Faye Williams Prize for Social Justice from her undergraduate alma mater, Rice University, and the Progressive Young Leader of the Year Award from the Colorado Chapter of the American Constitution Society. She has also been recognized by the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado for her pro bono service and remains committed to advancing pro bono practice in state and federal court. Lisi is a 2010 graduate of the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and spent her final semester as a visiting student at the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
